LATEST NEWS
Winter Series Wrap up

The final show in the series went off with a bang.  With such great weather the riders and their mounts all came out of hiding for the day to enjoy the sunshine, catch up with friends and to compete.
The leader board was pretty much finalised at show 3 however this did not stop the competitors from trying their best to knock the leaders off their perches.
With such lovely weather we had to have a mounted prizegiving at the end of the day and it was great that the riders could stay and enjoy the spoils of their hard work over the winter months.

Final placing follow;

13 to 17 - Emily Twort

A big congratulations to all riders who attended our winter series and it is great to see so many riders young and old enjoying the show hunter discipline
The Summer dates are being finalised and the program for our first show in Dec will be available online shortly on our events Page.

We look forward to seeing you all at the Dec Show

Winter Series Day 3 Results

Unfortunately we seem to have been plagued by bad weather running up to the last two of the winter series dates which has really impacted on our numbers!  Oh well, only one more day left in the winter series which will be held on 24 August

Winter Series Day 2 Results

We had a good day today, even though the numbers were small again. Maybe the threat of bad weather put people off, but we didn't have a single drop of rain all day! We look forward to seeing you at the next event on 13 July.

New Online Entries for our next show on 15 September 2013

Exciting news – we are trialling online entries for our for the last of our winter series shows on 15 September. No more posting entries, or scanning and uploading entry forms. Online entries are the way of the future and we’d really like you to give it a go for this show. All you have to do is go to Main-events.com and look for our show date.

Click here to view the online entry page now.

  • To enter online you will need to login, so if you haven’t done it before you will need to register first.
  • Online entries for the show are open now which will give you plenty of time to have a go. Online entries will close Friday 13th September so that we have time to upload the data.
  • If you have multiple horses/riders put your entries all through the one login, just keep adding horses/riders as required.
  • If, after you’ve done your entries things go wrong and you need to change or cancel your entries all you need to do is email the secretary and she will sort it out for you.

We will continue to take entries on the day as usual or course, but we would really like to encourage you to enter online – this is our chance to practice prior to the bigger summer shows and the aim is to cut down the secretary’s workload and cut down your time waiting in the queue to get your entries completed on show day. You will be able to see class lists online as online entries come in and full lists once the secretary uploads the manual entries.

We are also looking for anyone that may be interested in learning to use the software we use at our shows for entries and results. It’s not hard to learn, all you need is to be competent using a computer and some free time during show days to help out in the office. This will enable our long serving volunteers to have a break during the day and make things easier during the busiest times. We really need some more people trained in this area in case of emergencies – who knows – you might even enjoy it!!

Please don’t hesitate to email Louise if you have any problems with your online entries, or if you are at all interested in helping in the office on the computer.
