Important Change to Competitor Number Format
One
of the major pieces of information to come from the recent show jumping
conference is that all horses and ponies will be
issued with a four digit number which that horse or pony will use
throughout the competition season. This replaces the current system
where competitors
are issued with a three digit number at each show.
Showhunter competitors - you will have to buy a four digit
number holder before the start of the new season or alternatively you may wish to make your own back number for this purpose.
This
number does not replace your horse/pony registration number, this is
just your competitor number for the whole season. Watch this
space for further updates on where to find your season competitor
number. We may have a new page on this website or a link to
where
you can find your number.
Following the Showjumping AGM it was agreed that a four digit ID Tag will replace the current three digit ID Tags.
At
the beginning of the new season, all registered showjumping horses will
be assigned a four digit number for the year ending July 31, 2012.
These will be available in horse alphabetical order on the ESNZ website
in early to mid-September. The list will be updated on a weekly
basis to accommodate all new and re-registrations. The new four digit
ID Tags will be available for purchase from ESNZ in early September.
Or alternatively riders can make thier own laminated
back numbers/holders.
The tag on sale will look similar to this...
