Our
vision
is to create opportunities for success for showhunter riders, teams, coaches or
groups. Part of this vision is to provide opportunities through
scholarships to people at both an elite and training level. In
2006 a
scholarship programme was established to assist riders progress
in the showhunter discipline by providing for example, coaching and
event entry fees.
The scholarship may be applied to showhunter riders, teams, coaches,
judges or groups. For example, riders wanting to compete at national
or international level or coaches/judges wishing to improve through
further qualification or exposure to national or international
standing.
Applications
Applications are encouraged from Waitemata Area Showhunter riders. In all cases the recipients must agree to take part in any publicity arranged by Showhunter Waitemata. Scholarships are awarded at the Showhunter Waitemata AGM meeting
each year. Successful applicants are notified prior to the
AGM. Please note that scholarships are awarded entirely at Showhunter Waitemata's discretion.
