The fifth day of the Showhunter
Waitemata winter
training series is at Woodhill Sands on the 22nd of August 2010. We encourage all riders (especially those new to
Showhunter) to attend.
The winter series programmes are extremely popular with new rider/mount
combinations where riders and horses are encouraged to learn to jump in
a relaxed and safe style.
Similarly, it gives new combinations a rare chance to test how
they may go in a
competition - use it as a warm up for the next season.
Showhunter Waitemata committee
members, instructors, and judges are on hand to answer any questions on
anything showhunter from style and rules to further competition opportunities.
There
are always prizes for the series winners with points over all winter events
accumulating to give overall winners
in both the hack and pony rings.
